At Excel Centres we offer quality childcare in a safe and stimulating environment. The after school club is open from 3-00 to 7.30
Activities include:

- Board games
- Movie days and many more
The Afterschool Club is unique in enabling children to mix with children from other schools rather than just spending time with children from their own school. This develops children’s social skills which is so important for their future. So many friendships have been forged which would never have happened if it hadn’t been for this opportunity. It is also very important for children to have a change of venue at the end of the day. They are all then able to start a fresh without any of the problems at school staying with them.

Tuition
Children attend sessions lasting approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes.
At Excel, every child has their own individualised programme of study which strengthens their weaknesses and reinforces their strengths. This ensures that children are stretched and challenged in exactly the right areas
Excel tutors work with children in a maximum ratio of 1:6, ensuring the right balance between individual support and independent learning. As children practise and acquire new skills, the tutor is always on hand to encourage, explain or teach a new concept.
We follow the Excel programme of study in Maths and English which has been developed by official GCSE and SAts examiners
